This ZKC-C03 model sports a black stonewashed tanto blade and a jade green G-10 handle with a concave texture and a titanium pivot collar.
Stedemon has created a budget version of their extremely popular Shy IV model with the same great build and a 440C stainless steel blade. The ZKC-C03 offers a slim, lightweight design while maintaining a large blade and handle profile. If you're tired of tiny, keychain worthy knives, the C03 delivers with a hefty 3.8" blade. G-10 handles with flow through construction allow for a larger size without weighing down your pockets. A tip up pocket clip and a blue G-10 backspacer finish of the impressive EDC design.
Features
First off, it is made in China. That being said, the workmanship is great! Fit and finish is better than expected and the action is butter-smooth so far. I haven’t made much use of the cutting edge yet so I can’t speak to the quality of heat treat on the blade. But overall I am impressed with this knife.
Ultra smooth, great action. The edge is nice and polished the 440c has no problem cutting
Super smooth and slim makes a great large edc if you don't mind 440c
The looks of this knife are definitely what make it great. Blade steel isn't premium, but it was sharp out of the box! Good fit and finish. My biggest problem is the thumb "disk." Thought it wouldn't be an issue but I can't open as easily as my knives with standard thumb stud. Missed opportunity for "wave" feature in my opinion. Still looks awesome!
Clip is in wrong orientation for any purposeful pocket clip carry. Not possible to change clip assembly. I’m keeps the knife because it’s good construction and to remind me to verify clip placement before any future purchases.
