This smaller model of the Steel Will Lanner sports a stonewash finished blade made from D2 and black G-10 handle scales with a red back spacer.
Smaller and lighter than the full size Lanner, this mini Lanner was designed to be a more pocket friendly version. It sports a thinner blade stock that is excellent for EDC tasks. The textured G-10 liners provide excellent grip on an already comfortable and ergonomic handle.

I don't like pulling my knife out of my pocket and having my trouser get converted to pedal pusher pants on one leg. Like most knives I buy the pocket clip has too much tension for my liking but that's where the negatives with this knife ends. Everything else is great. Beautiful blade shape and well put together. Similar length to the Spyderco Tenacious but just taking up less space in the pocket. I'm quite pleased with this purchase.
Nice knife. Lighter than I expected. More comfortable in my hand when choked up on the blade with the finger choil rather than when my hand is fully on the handle. Feels a little thin then. G-10 handle is nice. Grippy, but not "sand your finger tips and pocket down" grippy. Tiny bit of vertical wiggle on the blade when closed. Feels like the detent is just a tad loose, but it flips open just fine. Frank J., if the blade is digging into the back spacer there is something wrong. Mine comes close but stays above it and cannot even be pushed into it. If Steel Will is sending out knives like that it makes one wonder about their QC.
Ordered this knife from Blade HQ on a friday, and when I came home from work on Monday it was already in my mailbox. Also I live on the east coast so its not like I'm a state away it had to travel. This is my new EDC super sharp outta the box, both the blade and the styling of this knife. The red backspacer POPS, and the only complaint I have about this knife is that the blade rests against the backspacer when closed right on the point also right on the belly right around the middle of the backspacer.Other than that this is an awesome knife fun to fidget with super light and comfortable in the pocket, clip needes to break in a bit to much pressure. Would be a 5 if it wasn't for the fact every time I close it it digs the blade into the backspacer
