Pro-Tech went to great lengths in an effort to maintain the essential design of the SnG knife and it shows. Like the original, the SnG Auto has a two-piece handle construction with the front side milled from a single block of G-10, while the back side is made from lightweight aluminum. The blade features premium steel and deploys with classic Pro-Tech power for a knife that performs and looks good doing it. And, keeping true to the original, the SnG Auto is outfitted with a Strider titanium pocket clip.

The Pro-Tech version of the Strider SnG eliminates issues many had with the Strider. For instance, the blade does not intrude on the lanyard hole. When deployed, the action is so strong the knife almost jumps out of your hand if you’re using just your thumb and forefinger. It looks totally wicked with the murdered out flat black sterile treatment. Centering was dead perfect. Extremely nice fit and finish.
Absolutely beautiful knife! Surprised by Ryan R's comment... out of the box, mine was sharper than almost any other knife I've owned with the possible exception of my Spyderco Yohimbe 2. Awesome knife to look at, hold, open, close, play with, and show off to friends!
I have another one of these with a unique micarta, but when I saw this, I knew I needed it. No markings whatsoever and that tritium in the button.....oooooheeee! This is slicker than stealth, darker than shadows, more murdered out than a triple flat black range rover. My only gripe was that it didn't come terribly sharp, but that was easily fixed with a pass through the ol' KME sharpening system. The ergonomics allow two solid hand positions and boy does it feel good in the hand. It's gonna be a user for sure and with that, fi you plan o use yours, expect that over time, the DLC will show signs of wear, but that means it has been loved. These do not come around often, and after purchasing this, I discovered that there are other Operators in the Pro-Tech line that I will be seeking out! When you see one of these available, scoop it up! You will not be disappointed.
Lucky to own such a rare and well made piece from Pro Tech. Fantastic build quality and design. Sterile blacked out finish with the tritium insert takes this knife to the next level.
