The original TOPS Spirit Hunter, an early design by Leo Espinoza, marked TOPS' inaugural venture into recurve blades. Originally crafted by Leo for personal use, it emerged from his annual tradition of hand-designing a knife right before Idaho's hunting season. This practice birthed some of TOPS' most iconic hunting and camp knives, including the Viper Scout, Tex Creek, and Lioness. The Spirit Hunter’s evolution now showcases a spine without a swedge for added tip strength. Its G-10 handle has been replaced with two-tone micarta, offering enhanced comfort and grip. The tungsten Cerakote finish replaces the original tumble finish, improving corrosion resistance. Accompanied by a brown leather dangler sheath, this knife is ready to go with you on your next adventure.
