Tactile Knife Co. is the sister company of Tactile Turn, which makes some of the best EDC pens money can buy. Harnessing their years of machining experience, the same people set out to make a "damn good knife," like the kind of knife grandpa used to carry: a hard-use tool that wasn't flashy but clean and hard-working.
One result was the Rockwell folder and another is the Maverick Crossbar Lock Knife. This is their first knife with a Crossbar Lock and it was created alongside Richard Rogers. Not only does this knife have a Crossbar Lock, but it also has a MagnaCut blade. Its hardware—along with the rest of the knife—was machined in-house, not outsourced, ensuring only the best quality parts make up the knife. It includes a low-profile pocket clip that doesn't cause any hotspots, while allowing you to carry the knife securely. Tactile Knife Co. set out to make a "damn good knife," and we think they did a "damn good" job.
