From Kilroy’s Workshop, the home forge of more Forged In Fire contestants and champions than any other shop, comes the 100% American made Mini-Hawk! Ron Hardman, a Forged in Fire Champion, plays an essential role in the life of Mini-Hawk as a brand. This Mini-Hawk has a blade that was ground by hand their Colorado shop. As a tool, it is the perfect EDC for hunting and self-defense applications, but it's also a blast to throw as a mini-tomahawk. If you are an outdoor adventurer, this is the tool you want to have clipped to your pack or belt with its included Ulti-Clip sheath attachment. This isn't just any old sheath, it includes a quick release arm that is held down by an embedded magnet for one-hand deployment. The handle scales and sheath are made from a 3D printed polycarbonate and carbon fiber blend which is extremely fire resistant. Add this unique blade to your rotation!
The American Bladesmith Society-Approved School, where these Hawks are made is called Kilroy's Workshop. Sign up for one of their classes!
Take a look at more fixed blades! Blade HQ is packed full of them.
I purchased two of these. I really was drawn to the look of the Mini Hawk. I gave one as a gift and I kept the other. It is made very well and very happy with it. The only thing I would say is that belt attachment is not for Left handed people. Looking forward to changing out my handle color. Another cool option that is being offered to make the Mini Hawk unique.
This was the perfect gift for my groomsmen. They all loved it! Everyone from a farmer to the electric lineman, best gift they’d gotten. Definitely got one for myself. It didn’t leave my side for the honeymoon. Perfect gift and perfect new EDC.
Pretty cool tool, sits nicely in the sheath which is pretty creative use of magnets for the retention lock, I'd say it could be a little sharper, but then I pulled it out and sliced my finger like it was nothing, so sharpness is not an issue. Overall I think it will be a cool and fun addition to my daily carry, I'll strap it to my fire gear and see what kind of torture it can endure.
Quality construction. Very satisfied with the purchase.
Though there isn't a picture of this here! I have seen this first hand and watched it through some of the development. This is a very awesome piece. I can't wait to get my hands on it.
