I had been wanting to start carrying a multi-tool in addition to my main EDC blade. After trying several, I've come to love the Rambler. It's the perfect balance of size and utility. I have a Spartan, which I like. It's just too big for me for EDC. The Classic SD is a great size, but is lacking in tools. The Rambler is essentially the Classic SD plus the combination magnetic Philips screwdriver/bottle opener/wire stripper. But that extra tool make it invaluable. The Philips is the perfect size for opening battery compartments on electronic devices and kids toys and it also works surprisingly well on larger screws. I find myself using it all the time. I actually just installed doorbell buttons with it. I haven't stripped wire with it, but have used that notch for bending wire and it works well. Scissors are handy for those times when you reluctantly acknowledge that scissors would work better than a blade. The file is handy. I haven't used it on my fingers but have used it to smooth out sharp pieces of plastic. It also works for light prying. I just wish they offered it with Alox scales or cool patterns like the Classic SD. *Hint hint* BHQ Exclusives please!
