Victorinox Swiss Army SwissTool Spirit X + Leather Pouch 53814

I bought my first Spirit X in 2012 to compare to other multi tools I had bought from Leatherman and Gerber. The locking blades on the Spirit were the first thing I noticed. I always disliked the fact that the Gerber and the Leatherman's blades wouldn't lock, making them unsafe when applying any amount of force. Then I found that you could deploy the tools on the Spirit without opening the pliers, another plus compared to the others. I used the Spirit at work as a fiber optic cable splicer daily for 5 years without a failure. I carry this tool with me every day and have been doing so for over 10 years. It has literally performed thousands of functions for me both at work and at home. Since my original purchase I have bought four more as gifts. The only complaint I have is the Velcro on the leather pouch doesn't secure the tool well. I installed a heavy duty snap on the pouch to remedy that. Perhaps Victorinox could do the same?
