After CRKT introduced the popular production My Tighe in 2006 customers asked: "When can I get a slightly smaller personal carry version?" In response CRKT we went to Brian with the request, and he designed the Mini My Tighe. It is not simply a scaled-down version of the bigger frame-lock model, but was carefully re-proportioned by Brian, reflecting his passion for design detail.

The smaller frame-lock folder also has an open build with heavy-duty 420J2 stainless steel frames and a 6061 T6 aluminum back spacer. Frames are bead-blast on the bright models, and black EDP plated on the K models. The injection-molded black Zytel scales have a deep random dimpled texture. Torx fasteners are used throughout.

This knife features CRKT's patented OutBurst assisted opening mechanism, which instantly springs the blade fully open after you have opened the blade approximately 30 degrees. All have bronze and Teflon bearings at the adjustable blade pivot for smooth, fast action.

The dual ramped thumb studs allow the Mini My Tighe to be quickly opened with either hand, just like the regular My Tighe. The smaller models also feature a custom removable black Teflon-plated stainless steel pocket/gear clip.

The 1093K Mini My Tighe features a combined Razor-Sharp & Veff serrated cutting edge with a black finished blade and handle.

Super Sharp
Aaron T.
I bought this several years ago and it has been a safe queen since I bought it. It came to me so sharp that it is almost scary. I think I could use it as a straight razor and not have any problems. The reason I haven't carried it is that it doesn't have enough straight edge for the tasks that I need. I don't use my knives for super manly tasks but I mostly open envelopes and a straight blade works best for that. All that being said I would feel completely comfortable carrying this knife as an EDC blade. My favorite part of the knife is the looks. It may not be an expensive knife but it is one that your friends will want to play with when you show off your knife collection.
