This is a new assisted opening knife from Volcan Knives (a new company in the knife industry headed by Matt Diskin). The AUS-8 blade features ambidextrous thumb-studs, a spine flipper, and an over sized drop point blade. Although the overall size of the knife is very small, the larger blade makes it an outstanding utility knife. The handles are Zytel with molded ribbing and they are surprisingly comfortable. The knife also features a pocket clip (tip down) for easy carry. Overall, and excellent knife.
