poor edge grinding and uneven swedge geometry. So dull it wouldn't tear paper. once the edge was fixed, I really like the blade. pick up the quality on the quality control. update: Acta Non-Verba biggest fault = Attention to edge and elements of the grinding process, i.e., the edge geometry, swedge geometry, and evenness of grind per side. Aside from swedge regrinds and such, these gripes are easily fixed by anybody with the time and a bit of sharpening skill. Once the end-user fixes these issues..... OMG, I f%@king LOVE this knife. The ergo's, the milled micarta, pretty damn good heat treat cuz my edge is holding up to some gnarly stuff, heck even the DLC is holding up, but I don't expect any coating to last forever. edit: 11/30/21 this knife along with the Kantos have become EDC fixed blades. Front right pocket with an UltiClip is almost invisible. Ditch the Tek-Lok, get an UltiClip. Fixed Blade Carry Uber Alles!!
