The Hidden Canyon Hunter was a massive hit, and Benchmade upgraded the design with improved ergonomics, added jimping along the spine, and a premium vertical leather sheath with snap retention. The blade is made from CPM-S30V stainless steel, and the handle has stabilized wood scales, that can endure the toughest of elements and still look great.

Awesome blade steel and aesthetically eye pleasing. This fixed blade has the perfect ergonomics for its size. Don't let the size fool you. If you're skeptical about the small size I wouldn't let that stop you. Leather sheath is good quality. My sheath was cut in the inside from someone inserting the blade the wrong way but I can live with it. I love the color of the sheath and wood scales. I ordered an kydex sheath for scout carry. I'll probably be getting another one before they sell out. Perfect EDC knife.
This thing is amazing. The sheath and its size may throw newcomers off ,but once your used to it its a breeze to sheath and un sheath. Its also amazingly durable and the edge is superb.
I love this little knife. I have had it for about a week now. The vertical leather sheath fixes the sag problem with he horizontal leather sheaths. the retention is good and the finish is pretty good. The knife has a good sharp edge on it. fits my hands very well and is comfortable to use. I cant wait to test it out more. but for the money it is a solid knife.
This knife definitely has some improvements over the previous iteration. I love the new sheath and the more rounded bumps on the handle. My big disappointment compared to the original is the index finger groove is nowhere near as comfortable as the previous version. I still think this knife is great, but the handle feels to thin and without a good groove I don't know how well I can keep hold of the handle while using it for a long period of time.
