The Benchmade 179GRY SOCP Rescue Tool is a Greg Thompson design. He is the creator of the Special Operations Combatives Program (SOCP) and has years of training and experience to draw from. This model is a revision of the Benchmade SOCP 176 Dagger and is intended for rescue professionals and use as a less-than-lethal self-defense instrument. It utilizes Benchmade's efficient rescue hook design and includes a carbide glass breaker tip, and O2 wrench. The SOCP Rescue Tool utilizes the same proven finger loop and integral sheath design seen on the Dagger model.
