We in the knife community are all well acquainted with knife maintenance. Occasionally, knives need to be disassembled, cleaned, lubricated, reassembled, and tuned to perfection. Many problems plague us, like knife parts sliding across the work surface, little parts going missing, and lubricants and cleaners staining your workspace. We need a better way!
That better way is here. This mat makes it so knives will remain stable while being maintained. It has pockets along the top and sides that hold tools and parts without letting them get away. It's nice and wide, so you can take apart even your biggest folder and never want for more space. The silicone is non-porous and very easy to clean.

Love my black Boker mat. Asked BladeHQ to send me a close up picture. Super nice customer service people. Looked eh, in the close-up but bought it anyway to go with the other Dessert Warrior items. I got exactly what I saw. The sprinkles look like real sprinkles imbedded in the pink rubber which hides most of their colors. Almost makes the mat look dirty. Stick with the solid colored mats.
