Description

Description

The Mini Kalashnikov featured in this listing has been converted* into an automatic knife. When you push the button, the knife opens with a kick that is snappy and satisfying. You'll be opening it over and over again!

This model has a black, AUS-8, dagger blade and a teal coated aluminum handle with black hardware and a black, deep-carry pocket clip.

The Boker Mini Kalashnikov fills all the roles of its larger counterpart, but in a more lightweight, compact package that is ideal for people with smaller hands. The quality materials and quality build promise a knife that won’t let you down.

See the Boker Kalashnikov Review to learn what makes this knife so amazing!

*Automatic conversion knives are retrofitted by a third party to accept a coil spring. The factory warranty on these knives is void, but we do warranty the conversion/spring of these knives for one (1) year from date of purchase.

I got this knife for my wife because it is her favorite color and i wanted her to have a decent EDC knife that would actually fit in the tiny pockets on most of her pants.

She loves it! It only took her about 20 minutes to get comfortable with how hard it snaps open, and she likes it despite the smaller size. The action is great and the blade came with a half-decent edge on it.

The only one potential area for improvement would be the pocket clip. I wont complain too much considering what this knife costs (its a hell of a deal), but the pocket clip is much looser than I would have expected from a Boker. I realize that the kalashnikov is a budget knife meant to be used, not put on a shelf - but the clip swings back and forth against the body of the knife and has worn away an arc of paint in just the 2 or 3 days that my wife has carried this in her pocket. It uses a single screw pocket clip design that is supposed to capture the clip tightly to prevent it from pivoting around the single mounting screw... but the clip is a smaller width than the corresponding cutout in the butt of the knife, and it has too much play. Maybe we just got a dud, but it is what it is.

Either way, its still a great little knife and im sure ill get a lot of use. Thanks for the cool female-friendly exclusive, BHQ!
