Ben Petersen, who you might remember from Knife Banter on Blade HQs YouTube Channel, designed the Baby Banter as the little brother to the WE Knife Co. Banter. It features many of the same excellent and thoughtful design cues as the original, but fits in smaller pockets, is legal in more places, weighs significantly less, and is considerably less expensive. The knife utilizes a finger choil to give you more real estate to grab onto, making the knife usable, even in large hands. The knife is put together with recessed screws, a recessed pocket clip, a large interface with the liner lock, and a gentle G-10 texture. These little touches make the knife incredibly comfortable in use, even if you just like to fidget. If you like the idea of a small pocket knife that packs a big punch, dont shy away from the Baby Banter!
CIVIVI Knives is the child company of WE Knife Co., and their knives are almost unbeatable for their prices.
Ergonomics are surprisingly good for a knife it's size. The action is very nice and snappy(very fun to fidget with). Only reason i won't give it 5 stars is because the red paint does chip easily. Just opening it and closing it results in red paint flakes falling off from the part of the blade that comes in contact with the liner lock.
I bought this because of the look. I don’t think it meets the standards of Civivi other knives. I might gift it.
The pictures makes it look better than what I got , Orange peeled flat red looking paint , thought it would be alot more of a glossier/shinier finish.
An okay knife but worth two stars. Not as dry as an episode of knife banter but close. There is a lot in this price range and this knife is not towards the top. It will get used but most likely end up in your pile of wasted purchases.
