This knife is now SOLD OUT! But keep a lookout for the next Dessert Warrior Edition release—we're not done yet!
The most legendary EDC in the world just got a "hole" lot sweeter! This is our Blade HQ Exclusive Dessert Warrior Elementum! This new addition to the Dessert Warrior family features an icing-blue D2 blade and stainless steel liners frosted with pink G-10 and sprinkles.
Once upon a time, a typo cascaded into a product line of epic proportions and almost zero nutrition! The Dessert Warrior Edition was born and has been the sweet treat that brings our community together ever since. Now, for the first time, one of our favorite EDCs joins the iconic Dessert Warrior ranks!
The CIVIVI Elementum is a pocket mainstay for most of us at Blade HQ so it only made sense that we spread the love and make our own donut-themed variation. With smooth flipper action and ultra-reliable materials like G-10 and D2 tool steel, this is a fully functional tool—the dessert design is just the icing on the...well, donut. This is the perfect piece to start or complete (for now) your Dessert Warrior collection!
These aren't the first Blade HQ exclusive Elementums we've carried! Check out other variations of this ultra-functional EDC folder that you can only get here! Also, shop the original Desert Warrior (note the single 's') line of knives!
Completely mind blown when I found out about this knife! Super excited and very satisfied to get a dessert warrior in my hands. Perfect knife design with a Blade HQ exclusive equals one legendary EDC knife! Looks exactly like the picture!
Praise be to the donut gods for blessing us with the absurd in a land of sameness.
It's an Elementum! That said, this is a MUCH better implementation of the Dessert Warrior design theme. The scales are amazing, the sprinkles are bright and well defined, unlike the last batch of Bokers. And, the finish on this handle isn't going to wear off, at least it doesn't look like it will. The dough colored liner really sets this knife apart from the other Dessert Warriors. The only minor compliant is the blue paint on the blade and clip has some orange peeling, but it's not bad. All in all, this is the best Dessert Warrior yet.
As it came out of the box, it was hair-popping sharp. Lock-up is solid at somewhere between 40-50%, no blade play in any direction. Centering is perfect. It opens very smoothly and the flipper is in a great position. When I close it, the flipper catches on my thumb, which makes it feel more safe to close one-handed than non-flipper liner and frame locks. Time will tell if I'm right to feel safe doing that. While it does run on bearings, it won't drop shut without some help, so if you're a fidgeter who wants that feature, this may not be the knife for you. The scales are somewhat smooth, which I prefer as opposed to grippy G10 that will catch on your pocket easier. The jimping isn't very aggressive and the edges are somewhat rounded, making this a poor choice for survival/tactical applications. Duh. It's a donut knife. It's designed to be a fun EDC knife and, in my opinion, it excels at that. I do have two critical comments. First, I weighed the knife and it comes in at 82 grams, which is roughly 2.9 oz. It's still very lightweight and feels amazing in the pocket, but it's not the 2.6 oz that BHQ currently (8/21/22) lists it as. The second is that I would like to know what type of finish/coating is on the blade so that I can properly care for it. I'm not sure if it's DLC, Cerakote, paint, or something else. Would love to see this information updated. Aside from that, I'm absolutely in love with this knife and would happily recommend getting one when they're back in stock. Civivi and BHQ knocked this one out of the park! I've only had mine a few days, so if my opinion changes down the line, I'll be sure to update this review, but for now I think it's safe to say that this knife is an amazing EDC option. It's earned a spot in my rotation and my heart.
What a Tasty knife! It's baked with Luv. Beautiful color's, especially with those tan liner's. They really give it the look of a donut. Great knife 4 an Amazing price, along with all extras given.
I love the dessert warrior theme. Super sharp little Elementum. Great knife! These hit eBay in masses but I will be proudly keeping mine!
I was so excited about this release. I even managed to get two. I followed the USPS tracking site for two days until it got to the local post office. The site then said they were picked up by someone. Who that person was I have no idea. They most likely just handed a total stranger my knives. It's been about a week since their "arrival" and nothing. Extremely disappointed, as I was finally able to get these dessert warriors where I live. EDIT: I received my knives today after I received world-class service from BHQ's customer service team. I'm very happy with the quality of the knives and their performance. I'm also extremely appreciative of the customer service team's understanding and willingness to solve the problem. I'll definitely be ordering from BHQ again.
I'll admit I fell into a meme-purchase on this one. I thought it was neat and silly, and I needed some neat and silly. Boy do they deliver! It is silly, but really well done. Knife is sharp and smooth right out of the box. Sprinkles look great, I love this knife. I got it for the lolz but it really is an awesome carry.
The elementum is such a good EDC. I have 7 of various options. To the person giving 1 star because USPS lost your package. Your logic is flawed.
Nice knife and I'm glad I bought it, BUT it doesn't feel like a real knife. Kind of feels like a toy and I'm not sure how much I'll actually carry it. But I am glad it's in my collection. Does make me reconsider if I really should buy the upcoming Boker Kalashnikov Warrior Buffet series though. Nice to look at, but will I carry them?
I wasn’t expecting much but its light, finish is great, blade is sharp and operates smoothly.
