Elementum. The word invokes a sense of the inevitability of nature—the consistent tides, tearing winds, or devouring fire; there is a certain balance that exists in nature. The CIVIVI Elementum is awesome in its own right, and succeeds in establishing a natural balance. Its elements come condensed, landing between too big and too small, high quality and affordability, plain and extravagant. The resulting CIVIVI knife is modest, ergonomic, and functional. Treat your pocket to one of the knife world's finest!

The CIVIVI Elementum comes in multiple knife types including the classic Elementum Liner Lock, the Elementum Fixed Blade, and the Elementum Button Lock.

I bought this as a gift for my nephew for Christmas. It looks exactly as pictured. I had it engraved with his name so I was expecting longer shipping time. Nope got it within a week!!! The engraving is perfect. I'm so excited for Christmas! Well I guess this seals the deal I need an elementum for myself ASAP!!!!

Small knife
John R. on Dec 6, 2021

So being a Civivi fan, thought I'd try the Elementum. Color is blue, the first thing I noticed when opening the blade, is how small this knife is, Knew the blade was under 3 inches, but it's only a 4 finger knife, doesn't fill my average size hand. I'll take the big bad Civivi Naja any day for my EDC, but the Elementum goes in the drawer with other seldom used knifes. No markings on blade such as steel or where it's manufactured. Of course civivi is made in china. The web site says D2, but that's the only place I see blade steel type. This would be o.k. for someone with small hands.

Blue color is poorly represented in the photo.

Its an Elementum, so right off the bat, its a great knife for EDC, which is why I own many. But I was hoping it would be a more of a traditional "blade hq blue"(as seen in the photo) than the original I got back when the elementum first came out, which was more of a purplish blue. Nope. In fact I think its actually even more on the purple side than the original. So if that is your thing, awesome. But if you are hoping the color to scream "Whaaat isss up guys!", this is not that.
