CIVIVI updated its Elementum Button Lock model by taking it back to its roots, giving it the look of the classic Elementum Liner Lock. CIVIVI also updated the pocket clip and blade steel. Meet the Elementum II!
Elementum. The word invokes a sense of the inevitability of nature—the consistent tides, tearing winds, and devouring fire; there is a certain balance that exists in nature. The Elementum is awesome in its own right, and succeeds in establishing a natural balance. Its elements come condensed, landing between too big and too small, high quality and affordability, plain and extravagant. The resulting knife is modest, ergonomic, and functional. Treat your pocket to one of the knife world's finest with this beloved cutter!
The CIVIVI Elementum is also available as a fixed blade knife. Browse our Elementum Fixed Blade offerings!
I love the elementum 2 it carries great with comfortable ergonomics just like the original. It slides in the pocket noticeably easier thanks to the recessed pocket clip and screws. The action is probably the best action from civivi that I've experienced. If you are considering getting a elementum 2 and you like the original, you will love the elementum 2. 10/10
This is my 6th elementum. I have button lock, Liner and We frame lock. I'm still unsure about the steel, if this was in 20cv or even s30v or s35vn I'd give it 5 stars. Just wondering if the nitro is a D2 or actually better. The button lock and Flipper tab is addictive and even though I always change my scales I think for this Jade I'm gonna keep it (although aftermarket still not available as of time of writing) but even if I could get scales I wouldn't. Highly recommend!!!
