Description:
Elementum. The word invokes a sense of the inevitability of nature—the consistent tides, tearing winds, or devouring fire; there is a certain balance that exists in nature. The CIVIVI Elementum is awesome in its own right, and succeeds in establishing a natural balance. Its elements come condensed, landing between too big and too small, high quality and affordability, plain and extravagant. The resulting knife is modest, ergonomic, and functional. Treat your pocket to one of the knife world's finest from CIVIVI!
The CIVIVI Elementum comes in multiple knife types including the classic Elementum Liner Lock, the Elementum Fixed Blade, and the Elementum Button Lock.
I have multiple Elementums at this point including the Fixed models and they have never disappointed me. A very practical EDC with jaw-dropping quality. One of the smoothest folders I have. Great price too.
The title says it, but that may be selling it short. The construction of this knife is rock-solid. The bearings on the action are butter smooth; best action I’ve ever experienced besides their $$ parent company, WE Knives. Beats Benchmade, Spyderco, and the rest in that regard. I have an extensive knife collection and I say that with confidence. The blade is as sharp as a razor; sharpest factory blade out there. It’s also a very aesthetic knife; I bought 4 varieties and they’re all equally expert craftsmanship and beautiful. If you’re thinking about buying this knife, do it. I would be very surprised if you are not similarly pleased.
This has become my new favorite EDC. Lightweight and durable. I’ve carried it everyday for a month now and it is used daily. Blade is still as sharp as when it came out of the box
LOVE everything about this knife, feels great to open, no blade wiggle, and holds a solid edge. Looks great and is worth the money.
I have purchased 6 elementums and so far this one is my favorite. The wood tone coupled with the black metal is just so beautiful on top of this great design. Light weight, narrow width, sharp, smooth and reliable action, simple public-friendly lines, perfect size for the pocket, scale texture makes it easy to clip/unclip... its everything I want in pocket knife.
Came perfect out of the box. No need to sharpen, tune, etc. Detent is right on the money, action is smooth and crisp. Aesthetics 10/10
I don't own a ton of knives, maybe 5 or 6, but this is by far my favorite. It is surprisingly lightweight. I love the deep pocket carry clip. I enjoy it every time I take it out of my pocket. Feels like a high-end knife without the high-end price.
It is great as many have mentioned. Very smooth opening knife. Not the heaviest and not the lightest but is just right especially for EDC. The wood scales are great looking and make the knife more a lot more attractive.
There's nothing I can say about the Elementum that hasn't already been said. Excellence at its price. This form of the knife is at home as an EDC, or in an office that would allow it without drawing all the attention in the room. With the tradition of wood scales and sixe it would also be acceptable with a suit without being out of place.
I love my first Elementum which is blackened brass with a stonewash blade. When I saw this one I couldn't pass up the looks of the beautiful wood and black blade. Another great addition to my ever growing collection of EDCs, not enough days in the week, or maybe even month to give them all their own day lol.
Already received some compliments on this knife despite only having it for a couple days. Came sharp, looks great, pocket-friendly, good slicer, great action, I could go on. Great knife!
I've purchased several Elementums in various finishes. They are all great, but this one looks the best and has the best action of all of them. Really a beautiful finish. Really happy with this purchase.
This was my first experience with Civivi and this Elementum is an incredible value. The blade and the scales look and feel wonderful. The blade came very sharp from the factory. It is also an extremely light knife; a very easy carry. Super happy!
I purchased the ebony a few months ago because it was more available but jumped on this when I saw it. I have had some issues with the action on the ebony but this one is perfect. Came very sharp. Really eye-catching. Great weight. Very happy with the purchase.
Operation is smooth. Blade centering, fit and finish are great too. And on top of that its a good looker. :D
I have had my eye on this since it was first announced..Been waiting. Well it arrived and I am totally happy. The wood handles and black blade are stunning. And as always great action. Almost too pretty to carry everyday. Adding a leather lanyard and bead....
Just like when I was a kid and would leave a wet glass on the table, I would’ve got yelled at for letting this knife get water stained. The wood suffered water stains from being in my pocket on a particularly hot and sweaty day. Once I get the stain out, I’ll consider sealing the wood scales with a waterproof stain or sealant. A side-effect of the lovely wood I hadn’t considered. Otherwise, an essentially flawless addition to my EDC. I wonder how the wood scales would look on my Damascus Elementum...
good knife so far but the pocket clip did keep losing for me so i had to put some lock tight on the bolts
