The Jesper Voxnaes CRKT Pilar, named after Ernest Hemingway's beloved sailboat, is a dependable folding knife for the minimalist looking to maximize their EDC utility. It features a 2.6" flat ground blade with a fine tip for detailed tasks. Great EDC

This knife is the perfect EDC size and I love the sheepsfoot blade design because it provides the perfect finger placement when wanting/needing to be a little more intricate. It has been mentioned in other reviews but the action of this knife is perfect, feels great and possibly better than some of the premier brands like Spyderco. I know there are better steels than the D2 this comes with but I have not had any issues whatsoever.

As far as the materials go, this is just on the cusp of almost not being worth it. There are a lot of budget d2 knives to choose from and many of them at a lower price. That being said, this knife came with one of the smoothest actions, most appealing stonewashes, and some of the best ergo's around. That being said, the price is justified and I absolutely love this knife. Please convince CRKT to release a s35vn Pilar Large. I will absolutely buy it.

I really like this knife. Love the blade shape, the stonewash is gorgeous, and the G-10 scales are comfortable with just enough grip. My only gripe would be that I wish the blade were a little longer, closer to the 3" mark. But that would bump it up to another price bracket that would make it less desirable. For the price, this is an excellent knife!
