This limited edition model sports an OD green G-10 handle and a black stonewash finished D2 sheepsfoot blade. The Jesper Voxnaes CRKT Pilar, named after Ernest Hemingway's beloved sailboat, is a dependable folding knife for the minimalist looking to maximize their EDC utility. As far as the materials go, this is just on the cusp of almost not being worth it. There are a lot of budget d2 knives to choose from and many of them at a lower price. That being said, this knife came with one of the smoothest actions, most appealing stonewashes, and some of the best ergo's around. That being said, the price is justified and I absolutely love this knife. Please convince CRKT to release a s35vn Pilar Large. I will absolutely buy it.
I’ve been sleeping on this brand for a while and decided to pull the trigger the other day and have to say I’m very happy. Great shape, nice action and razor sharp.
I really like this knife. Love the blade shape, the stonewash is gorgeous, and the G-10 scales are comfortable with just enough grip. My only gripe would be that I wish the blade were a little longer, closer to the 3" mark. But that would bump it up to another price bracket that would make it less desirable. For the price, this is an excellent knife!
