The Peace Maker II fixed blade knife from Cold Steel Knives is a versatile performer. The knife is light and thin; the thickest point of the handle measures less than 1/2 inch!
The compound "Scandi" ground blade bevel provides a very stiff, distal tapered point that is great for a multitude of uses. The thin rectangular handle has subtle contouring and pronounced palm swell with a double quillon guard to protect your fingers, while a thumb trough in the butt further enhances the knife's versatility by facilitating a comfortable and robust reverse grip. The deeply textured handles have a course-stippling pattern inspired by Robbie Barkman's famous Glock grip reductions.
Comes with an ambidextrous Secure-Ex sheath that includes a stainless steel belt clip that will stay put and keep the sheath firmly attached to your boot or belt when your knife is drawn.
Came with a slight wire edge...easily fixed. The handle is thinner than I thought it would be so I'm going to use this as a boot knife. The sheath needs a little trimming but holds the knife securely and rides in an 11" boot just fine. Overall I am satisfied with this knife.
This knife is awesome. I love the weight and feel of it. The clip on the sheath comes off very easily though and I don't trust it for boot wear. This is now my letter opener on my desk.
