After a global search the firm of Lion Steel was picked to manufacture this knife based on their long heritage of quality, award winning folders. The DPx HEST folder is the collaboration of Lion Steel Knives and Robert Young Pelton of Worlds Most Dangerous Places fame. The DPx HEST Folder is based on Pelton's hard time in dangerous places and Lion Steel's mastery of manufacturing quality and tolerances. Won in a giveaway, but would buy one in a heartbeat now. Big pocket knife, and not much of a slicer, but god damn is it a unit. Very well built and very useful for most any task. Customer service is also nice if you run into issues. Saying that, its rare that you would ever be able to break anything on this thing. Solid as can be.
Being left handed it is very difficult to find quality EDC Knives. But this is one of the best, quality knives I’ve purchased. Lengthy break in period with minor tension adjustments, My thumb still hurts a little, but it’s ok LOL jws
