ESEE Junglas, pronounced "Hoonglas," has a tactical gray coated 1095 steel blade. Canvas micarta scales with lanyard hole. Comes with sheath.
ESEE knives are made from high carbon 1095 steel. While 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for - especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. We suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor such as TUF-GLIDE or TUF-CLOTH.

A very impressive knife with the expected level of quality from Esee. The knife struggles with smaller tasks, but easily handles chopping and batoning. Absolutely no concerns about damaging this tank of a blade. Comes with a great sheath with very secure retention and no rattle, not to mention Esee's lifetime warranty.
