They make the Lucha a lot better to flip BUT the latch no longer locks the knife open tightly. But closed, the knife locks nice. That’s my only issue. Other than that... I’m still using these scales.
Titanium Scales? Yes, please!!!

I love the Lucha but it is "handle heavy" and you can feel it; it just feels bulky in stock form. So when these Flytanium scales were available again I jumped on them and I'm glad I did! Yes, they are pricey, but they are titanium. They went on without any issues, perfect fit. And since they take off over an ounce off the Lucha, I feel it totally changes the way it handles now - definitely more forgiving. I love this knife even more and carry it on duty (Fire Department) since titanium is very corrosion resistant. Don't miss out!

Alright, so I know what most are thinking. Why buy handles that cost more than the knife itself? That's what went through my mind for a long time. THEN I discovered the joy of Anodizing Titanium. I bought these specifically with the intent to anodize them and they are perfect. There's also something about the Lucha that made me keep coming back to it over my 51 Morpho (which I love) so I was happy I could add that high end touch to it.
As for fit and finish from Flytanium, they were exceptional. The only issue I had is one of the latch pins didn't want to go in at first, but I was able to get it settled. It's also worth noting that these take over an ounce of weight off of the Lucha compared to the standard handles.

Almost all the minor issues the Lucha has can be fixed with one easy payment of more than the price of the Lucha!
These things make your knife amazing but its a real pricey upgrade. I think its worth it, but there are high end balis that are also worth it for around the same money as Lucha + FlyTi
