The Gerber Downwind Fixed Blade Hunting Series pays respects to traditional aesthetics while sporting modern day materials to provide the best hunting experience by having an efficient fixed blade knife. Each of these Gerber knives comes with a waxed canvas sheath and a multi-layered G-10 handle that has an increased handling grip when wet or bloody. The steel is forged with spinal jimping for improved ergonomics.

The Downwind Caper fixed blade hunting knife is designed for the "hands-on" moments when you are performing the breakdown processes. The striking features of this Caper are the spinal jimping nearing the tip of the blade and the tall grind. The handle is layered, flat sage green and black G-10 with a GFN overmolding.
