LMF stands for Light Multi Function Knife but it is a large mother. It’s Prodigy’s bigger badder brother. What I like is the butt end breaker it is so intense. The handle is very comfortable and protects from electrical shock in case you cut live wires. The retention in the sheath is very good and with the integrated field sharpener, it is very useful. And the coyote brown color is real nice.
I purchased this as my first ever fixed blade knife the second I was old enough too, and she has lasted me FIVE YEARS without disappointment! This is NOT just a knife! This is the most versatile tool I have ever owned to this day. It is an axe when you need it, a hammer, a seat belt cutter, and it even has a sharpener for your blade IN THE SHEATH! I went to work where there were Copperhead snakes everywhere and I needed something to kill one in case I ran across one. So I fastened myself a staff out of this knife with a point on one end and with the holes in the handle of the knife, I was able to attach the LMF Infantry to the opposite end of the staff. This bad boy saved my life three times and I was able to mark my kills so meticulously on the staff with it. I never go anywhere without this knife by my side!
