Description

Description

The LST traditional knife was first brought to market by Pete Gerber back in 1980. He worked with designer Blackie Collins to create an all-synthetic handle. The LST Drop Point folder weighs just over 1 ounce thanks to a glass-filled nylon handle. The drop point blade is bead blast finished 420HC steel with full hollow ground edge and lock up with the steel framelock. The LST is a great keychain knife size and fitted with lanyard hole for attachment.

This made-in-America classic is a great handy little pocket knife. It's decently smooth for a lockback, but make sure the joint has oil in it if it doesn't. It did not come very sharp, but it's 420HC so sharpening it took seconds. It's very corrosion resistant also.

My dad carried this knife every day for probably 15+ years, and it has held up to every task he's asked of it. For just a light, practical EDC knife on a tight budget, I don't know that it can be beat.
