It's a bead that works with lanyard.

I got several beads in this brand, and these are not exciting. The Damascus pattern is weak, and the product is heavy steel which may not be the best material. BHQ has many titanium beads for a few more bucks that are awesome. My favorite so far is TiSurvival for 16 bucks. Thank you.
