Since the 1940's, the Ka-Bar 7" Fighting/Utility fixed blade knife has been a trusted companion for Soldiers, Marines and Seamen alike. Now with the tradition that more than half a century brings, combined with modern tooling and construction, the Ka-Bar Fighting/Utility knife is ready for the next 50 years of service with our armed forces personnel, first responders or outdoor enthusiasts.
Featuring the iconic clip point blade, 1095 Cro-Van steel is painstakingly ground and heat treated to ensure each knife is tough and durable while remaining easy to sharpen to a hair popping edge. Black Kraton G handles are contoured into the familiar oval shape, comfortable in hand while providing excellent traction and control. Safely nestled between the finger guard and pommel, the Ka-Bar Fighting/Utility knife remains secure in hand whether you're in close quarters combat or blazing a trail through thick vegetation. A black injection molded glass filled nylon sheath resists cracking, warping or chipping and with multiple MOLLE compatible lashing and anchor points, carrying your Fighting/Utility knife in the field is safe and secure.

As a hunter, it is my first choice even for self-defense/security. This is my second KA-BAR and I really love it. I prefer the Kraton handle grip and Kydex sheath. It is well constructed and I am a big fan of history so it is a great collectible for me that shows the glory and legacy of KA-BAR family. The steel is very reliable and sturdy and always met my expectations. The customer service is very courteous and helpful as well. My only recommendations to the company are to offer resharpening services in the future, just like Benchmade does to its customers. Well done KA-BAR as always!
Ka-bar Large Bowie, it has gotten to the point that the only time I feel like a true American is when I carry this in my left hand and a 1911 in the right. Without question, it is worth the price tag to carry the same blade as so many neat men and women. Do not settle for a lesser combat bowie. The blade is thick and sharp. The grip, although a bit on the big side, is comfortable and quite grippy. The versatile sheath keeps the knife secure while maintaining a good amount of accessibility. I would certainly say that it could be considered combat-ready, right out of the box. Great tool, fearsome weapon. Commies beware. 91/100
You can tell that this knife has been through decades of field testing...This full-sized KA-BAR fits comfortably in a large hand. The Kraton grip is near-optimally sticky, allowing for better retention despite conditions. The guard on the blade is also carefully sized, allowing for enough practical finger protection without being cumbersome in the sheath. Regarding the GFN sheath itself, it has an easy thumb release and the blade slides out smoothly. This sheath can be worn on either side (as opposed to the leather sheath for this knife, which is only really a left-side carry), and it has many options to attach it. Finally, the blade itself is extremely sharp and strong, with the shape allowing for effective use for various tasks. Highly recommend this knife!
This was one of my first more serious knives, and I have loved its performance since the beginning. It has remained extremely sharp, and is very comfortable to use. It can be used for pretty much everything while camping.
As the title says this know was my first large fixed blade purchase. Originally I had this on my wishlist for myself. I showed it my brother who said, "That's so cool! That's exactly what we had in the Marines except ours had the leather." He is one of those people who has knives but really is nerdy about them like I am, he just thinks of them as a thing to use. So in an effort to kickstart his interest, I got it for him for his birthday. I liked it so much I got one for myself had have used it for all sorts of stuff both around the house and outdoors. Its held up great to batoning and everything "in its job description". Nothing too abusive. I do want to note how much I love the sheath. I play around with attaching it to packs and on my belt and everywhere else. It's super versatile without being too bulky!
When you buy this knife you can tell from the moment you open it that it is the first choice of the USMC for a reason! Being a knife owner that owns numerous fixed blades and folding knives. From Spyderco to Benchmade to Tops knives. This Ka-Bar is stealing for the price. 1095 high carbon that has an amazing heat treat. This knife is tuff, ergonomic, and has a certain grace in the balance of it. This knife fits the hand so well for any size hands. It is perfectly balanced. and has a sharp point. The coating on it is tuff, and the ambidextrous sheath is great. If this is your first fixed blade knife or you have had a bunch. Go with the Ka-bar 1213. This knife can be passed down to your kids. Very pleased that I only spent less than 80$ for such a good knife. Arrived very quickly. As always Bladehq has made it easy to receive such a renowned product in a timely manner. Thanks, Ka-Bar and Bladehq! ❤❤❤🗡🗡
