In extreme close quarters encounters where a suspect is attempting to take an officer's handgun, or an officer cannot access his handgun, the TDI knife is available as a "last option" knife. When worn on the pant belt the entire unit - knife and sheath - is well concealed. Designed by John Benner, founder and owner of Tactical Defense Institute. This knife has a black coated blade, black handle and sheath, and black metal belt clip.

The sheath clips on easily to a belt, has great retention, and conceals the knife easily under just a t-shirt. The knife is just the right size, and feels great in hand.
Absolute perfect size. Just wish they had a deep carry pocket clip!
This certain knife looks scary, easy to clip onto pants, belt, etc. and easy to grip. As far as I’m concerned, great for EDC and self defense.
90% reccomend but I wouldn't pull it out in public because it does look pretty serious.. I work at a Tire place opening boxes and doing hard work all day. This thing can take some serious work and keep on going FEELS AMAZING in the hand because of the handle shape where the index finger goes and its for right handed and left handed people too! Shealth is molded and feels great to take out and put back in with a solid clunk for feed back its locked into place. great belt clip aswell. Sharpness isn't hair shaving sharp but definately skin flaking sharp and will impress you greatly with zip ties and stuff like that. Sharpens real nice and will stay sharp for a long time.
I have three of these knives in different colors and one with serrated blade. They are on my belt and pack every time I deploy for disaster recovery. Great for self defense and general use too.
Nice self defense knife for the money, has nice zytel grips that feel comfortable in any hands.
Good to have but really good just for defense. Not gonna pull this out to open a box or cut a zip tie
I love everything about this little fixed blade! The sheath and clip are awesome and allow you to mount the knife on your belt where you need it. The ergonomics of the knife make it feel natural and comfortable in your hand. For self defense this is a great knife and I use it in my edc rotation very often.
This knife is one of my favorite EDC blades ever. It’s easy to conceal (if you want to) and super easy to remove from the sheath once clipped to your waist.
One of the best knives in hand and the knife has a fast, strong retention in the sheath
