The Onion Chive remains one of the most popular assisted knives ever made. The bead blast finished 420HC stainless blade comes razor sharp. Between the bead blast finished handles is Kershaw's patented Speed Safe technology. Give the ambidextrous thumb-stud a push and the knife takes over opening the blade the rest of the way. This is an ideal one-handed opener. Other features: Liner lock, reversible stainless pocket clip, and a safety so the blade won't fire by accident. Perfect size for dress pants, a purse or anywhere!

Good little carry around the house knife, everything works great itís a couple years old, Just really small
Great little folder!

I have used this knife for low profile carry for years and it is still around for any small job. Holds an edge, quick opening and durable.
Too small but nice

The Chive is well made. Came very sharp, well centered. Locks well. I suspect the plastic bar on the safety lock which keeps it closed in pocket will not last long. The chive is very small and thin. Fits easily in 5th pocket of jeans. This does however make it harder to open safely. My medium size hands need to be specifically placed do blade clears without hitting it cutting me. Defeats the purpose of the speedy flipper. Overall great knife that would be even better if handle were wider.
Daily carry

I bought this for daily carry for everyday tasks. It is easy one hand open and a great size for a pocket knife. The blade edge hold up well under normal use and is easy to sharpen. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a one hand opening knive with a quality blade material.
My Go To

I have had two of these knives over the last several years (lost the first one) and it has been my absolute favorite edc. As a smaller guy, this knife is perfect in my hands and the steel holds up great. I absolutely love the liner lock on this knife.
The Action is Addicting

I bought this knife mainly cause it was on sale, and it was a brand of knife I had never had. I didn't know as much about knives at the time. But playing with it is just the most fun thing to do when I first got it. Never carried it or used it heavily so can't speak on anything else about it
Great Little Knife
Chris H.
The knife itself is great. Small size is little too small for hard work but, it is perfect for carrying around where a larger knife might be inappropriate.

The assisted blade is fast and locks very securely; no wiggle in any direction.

My only complaint is my knife came work sharp, barely. The listing states razor sharp but, mine could barely cut standard printing paper out of the box. A little work and it comes along nicely enough.
