Reverse flick it like a Spyderco and you will have no problems. It is a fantastic cheap pocket knife
I'm at work and while rubbing my face I realized I missed a spot shaving this morning. I just used this knife to finish the job beautifully. So yeah, it's sharp. Solid little knife.
I got a couple of these for Christmas gifts. I didn’t want to give them away after taking a peak at them. It is a very nicely put together pocket knife. It feels very good in the hand. Small enough to carry every day, but big enough to get the job done. Sharp right out of the box. Would very much recommend. I may purchase another just to keep for myself.
Bought it here at the sale price , and ive been very happy with it. The fact that i love most about this knife is that it lives happily in my jeans coin holder. Very small and light, i forget that i even have it with me. But when it comes time to cut something, its razor sharp and is always available.
It is a bit silly that there isn't a flipper tab or something like that to make it easier to open but if you hold it near the pivot you can Spydie flick it with ease. Sharper than some knives that are $150+(you know the ones I'm talking about) and is a good looking smaller knife. My only qualm with it this line of knives is that the XL version doesn't come in the black/blue color combination but that's a miniscule complaint.
Great knife for the price. Effective fuller, quality feel, great action especially for reverse flick (Spidey), great looking handle and blade finish, good pocket clip. Competes with much more expensive knives. Very nice all around knife for a home use daily carry i.e. packages etc.
Great small knife for EDC. Natural thumb well and grooving on the top of the blade so you know where your hand is placed. Easy to clip in and out of my pocket. Minus, The thumb well where it meets the grind of the blade is razor sharp. I had to break the edge with light sanding.
I love the blade profile and the overall look of the knife. Overall its is an awesome knife for the price. A couple down sides and the reason it I didnt give it 5 stars. It is a little on the heavy side for the size. The thumb grove they say is used to open is very small. Think like 1 mm height. It works but you cant really fling it open like you want. At least I cannot. I have pretty big hands and its hard to get my thumb into place to whip it open. I can sort of spydie flick it. A flipper on the knife would have made it awesome!
The knife as really nice design lines. It's light. It's a fantastic gentleman's knife. It's just hard to flick. It's just for collection for me. Makes a snazzy dress knife.
The grind is basically a saber grind with the thumbnail cutout. Very cumbersome to open until you get the hang of it. Edge is very chunky and does not cut well, I've had choppers with better geometry. Definitely going into the beater pile of "knives for things knives probably shouldn't be used for".
Edge far from straight…. Difficult to deploy blade. Get what you pay for.
