This is a great multi-tool. The scales on the charge's handles make it feel a bit more solid than other models. The pliers are still tight after lots of use, and all the tools still open and close well. The S30V blade is nice, although I'm not sure if it's really worth the premium over the standard 154CM version. This has pretty much the same tools as the cheaper wave or base model charge, so unless you want the ti scales or the better blade, I'd stick with those.
Great Multitool, no ergonomics of course

Multitools are not meant to have great ergos. They do have great usability. This version of the Leatherman Charge has a large variety of tools. The variety becomes a strength and a weakness. The strength is that you carry one multitool for almost everything in life. The drawback is that the variety means that some tools will not be used thus becoming dead weight. This tool can handle mechanical engineering, construction work, home projects, quick fixes, and even safety (the strap cutter). If one carries the Charge TTi just for the strap cutter and S30V blade (all the knives come sharp, S30V could be sharper), then said person could easily find a CRKT M16-13ZLEK that is much lighter, smaller and tactically focused. Chances are that a lot of the tools will go unused. So if you dabble in a bit of everything and want to be prepared for everything, this is perfect for you. Or if you really like Leatherman (quality is just great), then there should be nothing to stop you from collecting it!
Itís the best

I carry a multi tool everyday. I had carried the leatherman wave for over a year. I didnít really need an upgrade but I decided to get the charge anyways and man, Iím glad I did. Itís basically like the wave on steroids. This multi tool is a beast and I carry it every day! Leatherman always makes great quality products but they really out did their selves on this one.
