The Surge is one of Leatherman's largest multi-tools and a true powerhouse. It is packed with large pliers, long multi-tool blades and easy-to-use locks. The Surge utilizes a unique blade exchanger. Large and small bit drivers and four outside-opening blades give you quick access to the tools you use most.

This is the best Leatherman in terms of tool selection in my opinion. It has the T shank interchangeable saw blade, the replaceable wire cutters, plain knife, serrated knife, scissors, a bit driver with interchangeable bits, an array of flat screwdrivers, bottle opener, can opener, awl, pliers of course, and a few other tools. It's a bit on the bigger size, and is pretty heavy, but man can it get work done, I haven't left the house without it!
The Leatherman Surge Started my EDC journey. I'm in the military and I can't say how many times people have asked me for some help with work because they knew I carried a multitool on me all the time. This is the perfect EDC tool. The only problem is the weigh, so if you not wearing pants or shorts with a belt there is a problem. Other then that this is a number one Leatherman I recommend. SOLID tool
I got this as a present. It's a little heavy but with that comes alot of features. It really does alot. I would get another one if mine went missing
This thing is a beast! It should be 22-in-1 because it’s also a door stop if needed. Love the size, but specifically for the size and durability of the tools that it packs. Very happy with the bit tool, and the swappable saw blade - genius! It has easily handled every task I’ve thrown it at. I wish the standard nylon sheath accommodated the tool kits you can use with this.
