This Wave Plus model comes in a black finish with a nylon molle sheath and interchangeable wire cutters. The Leatherman Wave Plus multi-tool is hands down the most popular multi-tool model, made famous by its outside-accessible blades that can be deployed with just one hand. When it was redesigned in 2004, Leatherman gave the new Wave larger knives, stronger pliers, longer wire cutters, and all-locking blades. Perfect for any job, adventure, or everyday task, the Wave Plus multi-tool is an international best-seller.

The Wave Plus features: stainless steel handles and body, outside-accessible blades for one-handed opening, all locking blades and tools, fixed lanyard ring, and a nylon molle sheath.

So far so good
Scott B.
I recently purchased the Wave so I havenít had it too long. The quality is typical Leatherman, no complaints with QC. So far Iíve used it to break down about 20 cardboard boxes for recycling left over from Christmas. The blade remained fairly sharp to the end and was easily brought back to razor sharpness on my Sharpmaker. It was extremely comfortable in hand during the entire process. Iíve used the phillips bit and file to adjust a door strike plate. I donít like the molle pouch for belt carry, I really donít like belt pouches in general so itíll probably be attached to my pack. I bought the pocket clip and have been carrying it that way. Itís a little heavy but that doesnít bother me much. With the popularity of the Wave, Iím sure it will serve me well for many years.
