This model of the LionSteel BestMan has both a clip point and wharncliffe blade. The handle has santos wood inserts with titanium bolsters.
The BestMan from LionSteel is a traditional slip joint folder with modern materials. It has titanium bolsters with titanium liners. The blades are made from Bohler M390 with a satin finish. A nail nick is located on both sides of the blades, making the knife truly ambidextrous.
Features:This is a solid slip joint. I love the idea so much. Modern construction, you can take it apart, great fit and finish, great steel. I do have a couple of grips though. One, the lube they used in the pivot looks like peanut butter and it’s all over the pivot of the blades. It’s weird. I wiped it off so no problem. Two, the grind on the knife is a little less traditional and more of something you would find on a modern folder. Nothing wrong with it but I think it could be an improvement on the functionality of the design.
