The TRE knife boasts LionSteel's award-winning build-quality and sleek looks that you'd expect from an Italian manufacturer. It has a black G-10 handle with titanium frame lock, back spacer, and pocket clip. It is outfitted with an IKBS ball-bearing pivot for effortless one-hand operation and the lock bar has a replaceable stainless steel tip for longevity. The blade is premium Bohler M390 steel with a permanent flipper.
This knife is great as an EDC option. The fit and finish is absolutely excellent, witht he 3D milling on the handle providing a very comfortable grip. The milled pocket clip is secure and doesn't create any hot spots for me; also, it looks very classy and subdued when in the pocket, a great clip that doesn't scream, "hey, I'm carrying a scary knife!" The flipping action on mine is pretty snappy overall, though I did tweak the lockbar tension slightly just for my own personal preferences. With a slightly stronger detent, the blade flies out on the bearings. The only minor nitpick I have is that the hardware (screws) are a bit soft, so I partially stripped one screw before getting a good set of torx bits. I can't really knock the knife for it, because it wouldn't have been an issue if I had used good torx bits from the beginning.
I own a couple knives more expensive than this, but this one is the best quality one that I own. The blade is amazing and of a really great steel. The grind is perfection and the handle and 3D clip/dress side of titanium is unparalleled at the price this was. Action/alignment is also perfect.
