This sandwashed Ti pocket clip fits the Spyderco Para 3 without obstructing access to the lanyard hole. Lynch Northwest, run by Casey Lynch in Rockford WA, makes the perfect replacement pocket clip for many Spyderco folders. Made from 6Al4V titanium, the clip is a designed for deep-carry and adds a clean look to your knife.
Each pocket clip includes a set of "just in case" screws and comes with Lynch Northwest's Lifetime Guarantee. If you bend or tweak your clip, they'll replace it at no charge.
The grip on this knife was decent, but the factory clip was starting to bug me. Almost everyone talked about Lynch, so I gave it a shot and it has changed my knife for the better. Deep carry, better fit, and affordable with customization available. A great addition to a great knife.
These clips not only change the carry depth of the Spyderco funky spoon clips, but they do so without creating undue hot spots on the grips. I've put one on a Para 3 and one on a Smock, and neither is the worse for ergonomic wear. Great!
I always liked my Para 3 but the standard clip kept the knife too high for my liking. This pocket clip fixed the one problem I had with my knife. Great price, great quality, and it looks awesome. Any time you see these available, jump on them quick. They don't stay in stock long. When switching the clips, a screwdriver with a magnetic tip really helps hold on to those tiny screws.
These deep carry pocket clips are great. It works on any Spyderco with the standard 3 screw setup. This one is slightly offset to make room for the lanyard hole. I have one on my Spyderco Smock and looks and works great. They are a little annoying to insert the screw through the hole, but the finished product is so worth it. They really take your Spyderco knives to the next level. I just wish Spyderco would release their standard knives with a deep carry pocket clip already included. Their wire clips are fine, but most models still include that outdated spoon pocket clip. If you are thinking about getting this clip, I would jump on it, they don't tend to stay in stock at Blade HQ for very long.
Spyderco always messes up when it comes to clips. They hardly ever make a good deep carry for their most popular knives. I just put this on my Para 3 and it makes for a much better carrying experience. I wish they made it in a few other finishes to match the sprint run knives, but that's nit picky. The best news is, I bought a second clip to try on my Spyderco Smock, and it TOTALLY FITS! It even allows the proper space for the lanyard hole. Holy cow, that changes things for the Smock as well. Great craftsmanship, great style. Love it!
It's a perfect fit for my Para 3, the clip slides very easily into my pocket but retains enough strength to keep my knife in place, and the finish on the clip is very discreet and smooth. The clip also comes with extra screws in case you strip the factory Para 3 screws, which is very nice. Another great thing about this clip is how cheap it is compared to other clips like MXG. Only problem I have with it is that it creates a bit of an uncomfortable hot spot when I'm holding the Para 3, but this is completely an issue with the overall smaller size of the Para 3 and maybe my larger hands, or both tbh, so I can't fault the clip for that. I also had no issue installing the clip, but I know a lot of people do, so what I ended up doing was installing the clip at a 180 degree turn from where it would normally be and starting by slightly screwing in the top screw. Then I could turn the clip around and slightly screw in the other 2 screws, and slowly install all 3 screws at once so there's even distribution.
Fits the screw placement perfectly and makes room for a lanyard although I do t use one. Also the clip has enough depth for your pants material to slide to the deep carry position without snagging on the screw heads. Nice finish too. Matches my para 3 Maxamet with the dark grey.
Big improvement over the factory clip on the Para 3, deep carry, looks great on the knife (Camo scales) and feels good in the hand when using the knife.
I can't believe this product is only 18 bucks. It's perfect. It curves around the lanyard tube as to not mess with anything. It rides SO much deeper in my pocket. The pictures don't do it justice. It still has perfect retention. Buy this clip while you can. Packaging was also super sick.
Wow, what a difference this clip makes. My Para 3 disappears into my pocket but stays right where I need it. It fit around the lanyard hole perfectly and looks great. Two install tips: first watch the online trick for proper install. Second, skip the allen wrench and spring for a quality, hardend steel T6 screwdriver.
This pocket clip give the Para 3 a very unique look, I bought 2 of the sandwashed. I never cease to amaze how much effort Lynch Northwest put in the packaging.
I got this clip with an acid washed para 3, it matches it surprisingly well. I can’t imagine having a para 3 without one of these clips.
Hands down the best deep carry clip I have for any folder. Looks great, carries pretty deep with just the right amount of retention. The clip is constructed so that it will accommodate even thick pocketed jeans. I read a review about it being difficult to install but I had my old clip off and this one on in less than 30 seconds. This clip is a steal at $18, especially when you consider MXG aftermarket clips are about $30 after shipping. Speaking of shipping it was ridiculously fast. Ordered Wednesday evening and received it Saturday.
If you plan on getting a para 3 go ahead and add this to your cart, you'll regret it otherwise. Also you get some spare screws, a nice touch if you ask me.
Great quality and nice finish. This replaced a Ti clip I'd purchased from a different manufacture that partially blocked the lanyard hole. This one rides just as low in the pocket without any obstruction. Easy to install.
I finally got my hands on one of these. Looks great and pretty easy to install.
I got this for my PM3 with M4. You have to put all of the screws in first! You put the three screws in their holes then screw the first one in a few turns. Then do the same for the second and third. After starting them you can then tighten them down. Come on people think in 3D! Haha
This thing took me forever to install. I have another similar clip from another maker and it was so much easier to install. Pros: great packing, good looking clip Cons: almost wanted to send it back it was so hard to install. Disappointed the screws are not T6 like the factory screws This clip really needs a slightly larger installation hole in it. It's just too difficult compared to others.
