The Production Praetorian is every bit as superb as other Medford knives and it's less than $400 to have one delivered to your doorstep! You'll enjoy the powerful MKT design in a lightweight EDC-friendly package with a full-sized blade complete with standard no-bull spine texture, a wide thumb groove opener, and a matte bead blast/stonewash finish.
Its handle is outfitted with a resilient titanium liner lock and durable, textured OD green G-10 slabs machined with the Betsy Ross US flag and the Medford logo. A smooth patch under the stamped titanium clip has been included for frustration-free pocket carry.

I like big folders and this one has to be the lightest big folder I have ever owned. I picked this knife up at the store, I was afraid to order it sight unseen online because of not knowing the size. It is big but because of the weight it has become my EDC since I bought it. Just a note also about the great service I got a Blade HQ. You see I was traveling through Utah from Pennsylvania and had to stop. They allowed me to look at a non-production praetorian to compare the two knives and the production praetorian is a great price for this knife. Thanks Blade HQ for your service and Medford Knife and Tool for the knife.
I was excited when these knives were announced. I signed up for BladeHQ's "email me when in stock" feature right away. As soon as the knife was released for sale BladeHQ notified me. Thank you BladeHQ! I cannot believe this knife has not sold out yet. I have wanted a Medford knife since I saw how thick the blade stock Medford uses is and now I proudly own one. I have been carrying my Medford Production Praetorian for a week now and I love it! Weight wise...I forget it is in my pocket. This is a tank of a knife but feels very lightweight to me even though the stock used for the blade is rather thick at .019"....that's about 3/16 of an inch thick blade!!!. I have a bad habit of stabbing boxes at work and have rolled the tip on a few of my thin blade knives when contacting solid box contents. I am not worried about rolling this knife blade because of the thickness. I love larger knives and anything up to 8oz I do not feel. I wear blue jeans and a belt with a cellphone clipped to my belt along with keys, Wallet. I can flip this knife open one handed, but I don't really consider this a flipper. Did I say I am proud to own this knife? When I show it to friends and coworkers, Their eyes light up with plenty of oohs and ahhhs. I have used this knife on cordage, boxes, plastic board, zip ties and small guage wire with no chipping or rolling of the edge.I like the Betsy Ross flag on the presentation side of the knife and the fact the G10 is smoothed under the clip side. Thank you Blade HQ and Medford Knife and Tool!
Definitely not worth almost $400 badass. No D2 with G10 combination should cost this much, no matter how thick the blade stock.
