Description:
Morakniv has dubbed the Garberg fixed blade their most robust knife to date. Its full-tang, high-grade Swedish steel blade has been treated for heightened strength and durability. The blade's Scandi grind makes it easier to keep a sharpened edge, and the spine is ground for easy use with fire starters. A rugged polyamide handle with textured TPE inserts ensures a comfortable, secure grip at all times. This model includes an extremely versatile MOLLE compatible Mora Multi-Mount sheath system for fastening to vehicles, walls, clothing, etc. Keep your knife at the ready at all times.

if you've had more than one mora like I have, it's likely because you threw one away, then got the other. Mora's aren't junk knives, they're just more readily disposable, but this is a good permanent knife, made with the same comfortable ergonomics that the standard mora is made with, but just juiced up with better materials.
I finally had a chance to take this camping. Pros: Super strong (batoned it mercilessly to split small logs), used tip to open cans easily, easy-release belt loop made for great transition from molle mount in my truck right to the belt (and sheath is symmetrical!), stainless steel that is quick to field sharpen, great value Cons: softer metal edge dulled quickly (perhaps attributable to the microbevel), not a slicer (not that it's meant to be - so bring a slicer for your food), not as soft in the hands as the rubber-type handles but that's the price you pay for sturdiness - so wear gloves for prolonged use
Mora makes great knives for the money and this knife is no different. It threw great sparks with a Ferro rod and you can baton with this beast of a knife all day long. It’s razor sharp out of the box and it will handle any task you throw at it. Don’t hesitate to buy this knife if your looking for a good all-around outdoors knife.
