Honestly, I bought this knife strictly for the look of it. I figured Ontario is a reputable company, so it would probably be at least usable. The price made it an impulse buy. I'm really impressed with how well it's made. No wiggle in the blade at all when locked, none. It was impressively sharp right out of the box as well. The clear body of it doesn't feel at all brittle and is solid in the hand. For such an inexpensive knife I'm very pleased. This would make a great gifting knife for sure. The only downsides are that the lock mechanism is very tight, so it does take some pressure on the slightly pointed thumb studs, which gets a bit uncomfortable. And adding a nail nick would have been a nice touch, but might have spoiled the clean line of the overall look. A long review for such a cheap little knife, but I like it.
