Description

Description

The Fingerling from Piranha is a functional and stylish automatic knife and at less than 6" overall it's the perfect companion. The drop-point styled 154-CM stainless steel blade is mirror finished for an impressive look. With the push of the firing button the knife opens like a rocket, so hang on tight! The lightweight and sturdy 6061-T6 aluminum handles are blue anodized with recessed grooves for added gripping power. The knife is very thin which makes it quite comfortable to carry with the tip-up titanium pocket clip.

Hi there I am a youtube knife reviewer adambomb98 so let's get started on this knife. I got the knife about a week ago and the first time I fired it I was blown away at how little it weighed and also how satisfying the action is! I am used to the boker mini kalishnikov knives so this piranha definitely has much better quality. The fire button is super smooth and the deployment is insanely fast! Also the blade came from the factory somewhat sharp. Not as sharp as I like so I did have to sharpen it on my wicked edge knife sharpener to get it to the sharpness I like. Next is the polished blade in 154cm people either hate polished blades or love them and for me personally I love polished blades I just think the look cool. But if you don't like polished blades you may want to look for another knife. 154cm is a great steel but it is not the best. From my testing I find it to be a mid level steel decent edge retention and decent corrosion resistance. I also really like how the piranha fingerling come in many different colors to choose from.

Now for the cons

I don't like how it does not have a pivot screw to adjust. Why? Because my knife came from the factory with slight side to side blade play and there is nothing I can do to fix it since there is no pivot screw. Sure I could send it in to piranha for repair, they are a USA company I just don't think it bothers me enough to send it in.

Well that is it I would give this knife 3 out of 4 stars.
I do recommend it I just think it would be best if it's possible depending on where you live to actually go to bladehq to buy the knife that way you can handle a couple of piranha fingerlings and you can pick the one with no blade play.
