It's is a well made knife and it is balanced nicely. The blade is sharp and stays sharp. Just a nice sized knife for carry and backup.
First off ,the action is super fast and hits hard . When you close it up you can feel the Piranha spring tension stay the same all the way down . Instead of the spring "loading up" where it gets stiffer the closer the blade is to locking closed . Sadly Mine had three or four small spots on the handle right out of the box . Where the paint was already missing. mostly along the back of the handle . Yeah I was a bit bummed out about that . really wish I'd gotten the blue and black model .May not have shown as much. Im a big DLC fan . The DLC on this blade Seems thicker (if that's possible) than any DLC coated blade I own . And I own quite a few. No way that's getting knocked or rubbed off . Be nice if the handle was as tuff !
