Pro-Tech TR-4 Tactical Response Button Lock Manual Knife (4" Stonewash) TR-4MA.1

This is the most expensive folder I own. I waited awhile for it to come back in stock and was very excited. Materials are great, handle is awesome, blade is awesome, finish is top notch. Sadly, this knife has a good amount of side to side play, some is to be expected. Also has a lot of up and down play. The only way to get the up and down play out is to tighten the pivot screw very tight which makes the knife very difficult to open. Great knife to look at but not one for every day use. My tenacious has no play, Chinese made, liner lock, been beaten on, and has no play side to side or up and down. Great collector knife but not one to use for much. Very disappointing. Update: Contacted Protech with my issues and knife was sent back for repairs. Was contacted back quickly and my warranty fee was also waived. Took about 2 weeks for my knife to return and all is good. All issues with the lock and blade play have been fixed. No play up/down or side/side and lock up is solid. Great company who stands behind their products. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase more from them. Thank you Protech!
