This TR-4 features a 4" stonewashed blade with a plain edge and a feather grip textured handle.
The TR-4 is a whole new take on Pro-Tech's popular Tactical Response line. It incorporates a much requested sliding safety on the front of the handle. The ergonomic handle is black anodized T6 aluminum with a grippy "Feather" texture. The TR-4 is a knife that will not let you down. It fires hard, locks up like a rock (what else would you expect from Pro-Tech?) and feels great. The TR-4 has a pocket clip (tip up) on the back of the knife for easy carry.
First off let me say this! I ordered this knife Thursday morning and received it Saturday morning! Shipping was incredibly fast! Secondly, I love the tr 5 but this 4 I love even more! I have huge hands so it fits my gloves perfect! I love big beefy knives! The quality is top notch and I expect no less from protech!! I’m now a protech fan man and a blade hq fan man!! If you love quality and automatics and big beefy knives get this knife and you will not be disappointed!! Very impressed so far with this knife. Snaps open with some real authority. The "feather" looks more reptilian than fish scales but nevertheless it adds some nice grip in the hand and looks good too. Very nice attention to detail throughout the whole knife. Out of the box the "go" button is a little gritty but I will continue to work it to see if it breaks in. So for now it gets 5 stars with the assumption that the deployment button will.smooth out. Definitely can't stop playing with it or looking at it. Love it.
