The SCH111 Karambit fixed blade from Schrade features a full-tang tactical design made from solid 9Cr18MoV stainless steel. Its lightweight skeletonized build makes it easy to carry, and its smaller size allows comfortable concealment. An over-sized finger ring offers a secure grip, and a faster draw from the included polymer sheath. Comes with a ball chain and length of paracord for neck carry options.
Great knife but the handle is a bit small for my liking. I ended up giving it a paracord wrap and that improved it. The sheath is nice and I liked that it came with a ball chain.
It's a good knife it came reasonably sharp it cuts well, it is very comfortable in hand, for reference I wear a medium size glove and additional paracord makes this a easy knife to use and hold.
Very nice size. The paracord included makes for a nice handle. Love the look and feel. Only thing is that its not very sharp out of the box, and sharpening these can be tricky for starters
This karambit is small enough to be wearable, but large enough to be useful. It would be better if both the handle and blade were 3/4" longer and the handle had a glass breaker, but this is picking nits. The edge was reasonably sharp out-of-box and all exterior surfaces of the skeletonized handle were smooth. I touched up the edge a bit and am very pleased with its cutting abilities. Be careful of the tip as it's an acute point and looks like it won't stand up to being dropped onto concrete during practice. The blade locks securely into its sheath and won't come out when you're running. Having both a ball chain and a length of paracord included in the package is a thoughtful feature. This is a fine value for your dollar.
The blade design is very well thought out, but I've cut my pinky a few times with the handle being so small. I cannot recommend for people with larger/wider hands.
