The SWMP5L has a black finished 4034 steel modified clip point blade with a plain cutting edge. The slate gray colored T6061 aluminum handle has black rubber inserts and a tip-up pocket clip. Includes safety and glass breaker tip.
Smith and Wesson's SWMP5 series is part of their Military & Police line of knives. This is a nice spring assisted knife with quick and solid action. The blade is deployed by either the thumb stud or you can push the button on the spine of the knife and it opens automatically. Bad blade material, dulls quickly. Easy to sharpen, well other then it being a tanto. The lock is good. To heavy for edc but good for outdoor work or just a backup its pretty decent... or just to open a package here and there. But i wouldnt buy this for use, maybe just for a collection or just for show.
Worked for about three months and no longer opened entirely. Decent edge on the blade however M.A.G.I.C. isn't all its cracked up to be with this one. Wouldn't recommend it.
