I have had many expensive combat and utility folding knives over the years. Gave this one a shot and I'm very impressed! The quality seems to be on-par with my benchmades and masters of defense folders. The price ($89) was well worth it!
I was looking through the BladeHQ catalog when I stumbled upon this knife. I'm a collector and have several automatics and I thought I would give Bear Ops a try. I have to say I was skeptical looking at the price, but that anxiety disappeared after I opened the package. This auto has a very fast snap on opening and just about the sharpest edge I've seen! I am impressed with this knife. I haven't got to use it as a work tool yet but I don't foresee any problems. The best knife for the price!
Ordered this knife on a whim due to its Italian Stiletto Styling. I am not disappointed a bit . Nice box and velvet bag it came in and the size and weight are perfect . Very sturdy , very sharp , snaps open in a flash nice positive lock . Machine work looks and feels flawless , blade is tight no wobble slide lock feels firm and stays either open or in the locked position with out play. Beautiful knife foe a collector or for EDC .
I'm writing this review after more than a year of everyday carry, using it for everything from opening boxes to a screwdriver the tip is still in one piece I've sharpened it once or twice a week for over a year (very easy to sharpen although to hard to get a razor unless too much time is spent. a little hard for my liking but the tip is still in one piece) cant beat the price if your looking for something twice as good then you will have to spend twice as much $$$ keep a small set of T's around to tighten the screws once a month. and don't over tighten em thank you!
