This is a must have!! I got mine in and I'm %100 satisfied, razor sharp out of the box, sturdy, fires right open like it supposed to, no problems what so ever. Yes I highly recommend getting this knife, this is a smaller version feels nice in the hand and I'm happy to have this knife. I say get one before they sell out or you'll be stuck for months, great for the price and worth the money, no complaints here.
I ordered this - and have been really happy using for types of things! Great product
bought to replace buck vantage and really like the auto function (figet toy for grown ups) its light weight and sharp with a deep carry clip, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a compact edc auto knife.
I own a lot of Autos. My 2 favorite are Benchmade Mini Reflex & Protech Newport. 3rd place is the whole Boker Kalashnikov series (mini and regular). This is my favorite because it isn't too heavy or bulky for basketball shorts hut still plenty of knife. They are all awesome. Fast, solid deployment. Nice edge out of the box.
This Boker is a great knife for the price. Blade is tight to the handle, no play or wobble, opens in a flash!
I ordered one of these for Christmas. After receiving the knife and looking over it. This thing is in my opinion is one of the best knives out there in an automatic. It opens very smoothly with just the push of a button. It has a great carry weight. You hardly even notice it in your pocket. Overall I couldn't have asked for anything better. Very short shipping times and BLADEHQ is problem one of the best companys if not the best company to deal with. I will definitely be ordering more stuff from them myself. AAAAAA++++++ ON OVER ALL EXPERIENCE!!!!
I purchased the Boker Mini Kalashnikov Automatic several months ago and it has become my favorite EDC knife. Spent some time reprofiling the blade with wet stones and it is absolutely razor sharp. The mini size is perfect for easy carry. I forget it's there, until I need it. Knife is sturdy, well built and dependable. Shipping from BladeHQ was fast with tracking.
I didn't know what to expect when I ordered this knife. Thought it looked cool and could see some advantages of having a smaller knife. As always when ordering from Blade HQ, the knife arrived quickly - and when I popped it out of it's AK-47 box, I immediately fired it off. And it's a little rocket. Fires quickly and locks tight. Little to no blade play - a quality knife! Concealable in the hand and easy to drop in your pocket. Very strong spring too - and the blade came razor sharp. I recommend it!
I collect blades; all kinds. This little guy is my EDC till I loose it, (or some "friend" borrows it...) Perfect action. I also own it's granpaw Kali. Equally sweet. It came in the same rifle clip box as granpaw, which I was very shocked and pleased to see. I bought the bead-blast, but preferred to deep carry with a black clip. I called C.S. and it was no questions asked. It's on the way... I own several Bokers, including the Magnum Series. All winners. Recommended FIVE STAR STUFF! Regards, GB
Wanted to try an auto without breaking the bank. It was pretty sticky out of the box, but a little oil brought it to life. Mine has a little side to side play, but to be expected at this price point. I rotate it in EDC as a fun option. Totally worth the price in my opinion for someone who wants to give an auto a try without going all in.
Since I’ve started carrying a fixed blade for the majority of uses, I’ve moved to smaller pocket knives for tiny chores. This unit was shaving sharp out of the box, & the action is smooth & snappy. It’s a little thicker in the handle than I’d like, but for the $$, I can live w/that. Blade shape is just about perfect for the intended application.
A great knife with Aus8 steel for 35 bucks it opens quick. However when I first got it it seemed like is was a little tight but after cleaning it and a little WD40 this is very smooth. Not super sharp out of the box but after i put my edge on this thing it is beyond razor sharp. Lock up is real good with no movement. I liked it so much I bought the bigger one too. and they are so cheap I bought 3 more for gifts. I carry mine every day and after nearly a year some of the black is wearing off the handle but I still love this knife. I got rid of the pocket clip on this little one and carry it my pocket. Love it
I own a Pirhana and a couple of Benchmade auto's, as well as some classic Italian switchblades all which were considerably more expensive than this knife. I was looking for a smallish auto as a gift for a friend who has limited mobility in his arms. Given the price I was a bit hesitant when ordering (though online reviews via You Tube were quite positive) and upon receiving the knife I was impressed. It is light, slender (very important), just a great size to have at the office and the blade comes out super smooth with authority. In my opinion it wasn't all that sharp, just your basic grind without a finish though I've not attempted to sharpen it just yet. It would be nice to see a lock to prevent accidental opening while in my pocket. The push button blade release has some rough drag though I assume that will smooth out with use (and perhaps a bit of oil). Overall I am quite happy and am going back in to purchase another. Pro's: Great value and price, light, perfect size for the office, no defects, good solid spring, excellent price. Great every day carry knife. Con's: No blade lock, push button a bit rough, would like a sharper, more refined edge. I'm giving it 5 stars because for the price it's a really nice little knife!. I want to add - Great service and fast delivery from BladeHQ and this was my first purchase.
What a great little knife. These are just too cool for $29.95.
Nice packaging but even nicer knife. Super tight no wiggle anywhere. Blade has a very nice edge, and opens with a snap. Very nice sturdy deep carry clip, overall good feel, and weight. 100% happy with this purchase.
I really like the size of this knife. It's easy to carry all day and not know you have it on. The blade deployment is quick and positive each time. It takes a little effort to push the button in, but that's okay with me. It appears well constructed and arrived very sharp. For the price it's hard to beat. My next order will be for its big brother. I'm pleasantly surprised at the quality and workmanship of these imported knives. The blade is perfectly centered and without any side play. The pocket clip lets the knife ride low in your pocket, out of sight. Good job Boker.
Removed pocket clip then cut off and replaced cut piece back in slot provided to fill the gap. Now it fits smoothly in watch pocket where I always keep a pocket knife anyway. Retired my Swiss army pocket pal. Glad I picked up a couple of these knives great buy nicely made and opens with a positive snap.
This knife clips on the pocket without being bulky, heavy, or hindering pocket access. On top of the convenient size, it is sharp as can be! These combined, allow for (actual) single hand use. (Push button auto and not having to hold what you’re cutting because it’s so sharp.) Also having the push button away from the clip, prevents from accidentally hitting while retrieving. (I just bought 2 more for gifts.)
If the manufacturer ever sees this by chance- love the knife but I have lost a smaller version of this knife, like whole knife was no bigger than 4.25in opened. I used the crap outta that baby auto flipper. I don’t know who made it. That baby auto was perfect for what I needed it for, which in automotive there’s zipties in unmanageable places and vs using a little razor blade I always had this baby switch blade. Lolz couldn’t tell yah the beers it’s helped me shotgun either. *Plz Make A Baby Version of some these knives*
The perfect size for most EDC tasks and snappy action!
I got this knife in s30v steel, but when I was deciding I could choose between the mini or regular size. Let me just say you cant go wrong with it. It's the perfect size for EDC. When your carrying it, it disappears, and when you need it it's easy to use. I was worried that the handle would be too small but it's a good size.
This might just be the best value in an automatic knife ever. I am very pleased with the fit and finish. The blade action is fast and crisp. I don't see how they can make a knife of this quality a this price point!
This is exactly what I have been looking for. Compact, fast opening with one hand, rock solid. No blade play at all, excellent fit and finish. I use my EDC as a money clip as well, and this is just the right size - just a little longer than folded bills. The clip is full length, so the bills don't get out of alignment. Totally inconspicuous in your pocket. Blade was sharp out of the box and with a few strokes of the Lansky will shave your hair clean off of your arm. This is my new favorite, and I cannot think of another knife that would displace it for EDC. On another note - Blade HQ has my business 100%. Price was right - shipped next day, great communication. I am going to bypass Amazon for all of my blade purchases from now on.
The Boker Kali mini is a perfect little EDC. I took the clip off because it kept hanging on things in my pocket. Mine came very sharp. The action is a little tight but I am sure it will loosen up in time. Highly recommend. This was my first BladeHQ purchase and I have been very pleased with the ease of the transaction and the quick delivery.
Blade was not very sharp out of box but that was an easy fix. Had to adjust pivot screw due to blade not deploying on its own after about 30 times. Overall the knife is handy and at 1.9oz I forget it’s in my pocket.
It was sort of sharp, but I had to re grind the bevle in order to sharpen it. Also the belt clip was loose, but is now fine after tightening. ALL in all it is a good knife, and I am happy with it thanks!
The steel that is pretty good but not great, the spring is good but the problem is the lack of lock and the only right hand pocket clip.
Mine has really good fit and finish and a good action. If you like the knife but not the steal, there is a way to get it in D2 and S30v. You cant one hand close this knife which is annoying at times but its nice to fidget with.
Fast deploying and only 30 bucks. Could it be any better ?
I really wanted to love this knife. How can you go wrong with a simple push button, right? Unfortunately, the button is hard to push in all the way. You really have to mash. Told myself this was good since it wouldn't open accidentally, but after using a few times, I couldn't open it at all. I finally lubed it with some WD-40 and used a screwdriver to release the mechanism between the handle pieces. Got it working again. This is a really small knife, even for me. I'm 5'3 and 120 pounds and its still small. The really great thing and the reason I gave it four stars is that this knife is super sharp!!!
replaced button spring with lighter one actually a spring from a bic pen which I cut to size, consistent now no premature opening issues, low profile button and stiff spring made this knife unreliable
Received a full week late due to usps incompetence, but that doesn't affect this rating. First, I received an open box, which always bothers me. Breaking a factory seal is somehow one of the joys of buying new toys. I find the button to be mushy at best, it's very particular about how it is activated. Hopefully, this will break in- using a thumbnail with a lot of force on the sweet spot is going to be an annoyance if it doesn't. For $30, it's alright- I have faster assisted openers fwiw. If I paid more I'd not be pondering a return right now, I'd be filling out the form. I knew I should have ponied up the cash for a Piranha...
